At KidCademy, we understand that choosing the right learning environment for your child is an important decision. Below, you’ll find answers to the most common questions parents ask about our approach, classes, and easy registration process — so you can feel confident every step of the way.
1. What is KidCademy?
KidCademy is a UK-based online learning academy offering live small-group English, Maths and Phonics classes for children from Early Years to Year 6.
2. Is KidCademy a school?
KidCademy provides supplementary online learning and tuition. It is designed to support children alongside their existing education rather than replace a child’s registered school unless a separate arrangement has been agreed.
3. Which curriculum do you follow?
Our programmes follow the British primary curriculum and are designed for children learning in the UK and internationally.
4. How many children are in each class?
Classes are capped at 8 children. This allows children to learn socially while still receiving meaningful attention from their teacher.
5. How much does KidCademy cost?
Every group programme is AED 1,250 per month and includes 8 live lessons each month, with a maximum of 8 children per class.
For children who require personalised support, we also offer 1-to-1 private tuition at AED 250 per lesson. 1-to-1 tuition is available online internationally and face-to-face in Dubai. Block bookings of 4 or 8 lessons are required.
6. Do you offer one-to-one tuition?
Yes. Alongside our small-group programmes, KidCademy now offers personalised 1-to-1 private tuition.
Our small-group programmes are designed to build confidence, communication and a sense of belonging through learning with other children, while our 1-to-1 tuition provides a more personalised approach for children who benefit from individual attention.
1-to-1 tuition is available online internationally and face-to-face in Dubai only.
7. Who can join?
Our programmes are designed for children from Early Years to Year 6, including international and EAL learners who would benefit from British Curriculum support.
8. Are lessons live?
Yes. Lessons are live and interactive with an experienced teacher and a small group of children.
9. How are children placed into classes?
We consider your child’s age, year group, current learning needs and the information provided during enrolment or assessment.
10. What subjects do you offer?
English, Maths and Phonics, with the exact subject focus tailored to the child’s year group.
11. What happens if my child misses a lesson?
We understand that sometimes children may need to miss a lesson. To help them stay on track, a recording of the lesson will be available to watch for 7 days, giving your child time to catch up with the learning.
For safeguarding and child-protection reasons, recordings are only available for 7 days and are then securely removed.
12. How long is each lesson?
Each live lesson is 60 minutes long. Our lessons are carefully structured to keep children engaged, with a balance of teacher instruction, discussion, activities, guided practice and opportunities for children to participate.
13. Can my child join if they already attend school?
Absolutely. KidCademy is designed to complement school learning by providing additional practice, support, challenge and confidence.
14. Do you support EAL learners?
Yes. Our teachers have experience supporting children who speak English as an Additional Language and understand the importance of clear explanations, vocabulary development and confidence-building.
15. How do I enrol?
Start by booking a free assessment. We will then help you choose the most suitable programme and class.
16. Can I enrol more than one child?
Yes. Contact us to discuss availability for siblings.
17. Can families outside the UAE join?
Yes. KidCademy is UK-based and designed to serve families across the GCC and internationally, subject to class availability and suitable timings.
18. How do I pay?
Payment is quick and secure through the KidCademy website. Once enrolled, you will receive access to your KidCademy account and LMS, where you can manage your child’s learning, view lesson information and access any available learning resources.
Group programmes: AED 1,250 per month — 8 live, 60-minute lessons.
1-to-1 tuition: AED 250 per lesson — available in 4- or 8-lesson blocks.
19. Can I cancel or pause?
Yes, you can cancel or pause your plan anytime with one month’s notice before your next payment. We understand that family schedules change, so we make it simple and flexible to manage your subscription.
